Our College

The Diocese of Kumbakonam established "Poondi Pudhumai Madha College of Education", Vengankudi, Samayapuram, Trichy district in March 2012. The college named after our lady of "Poondi Madha" and it is cushioned with the Motto 'Learn to serve'. Our college takes every attempt to harness to realize the dream of producing the prospective teachers to serve the nation.

Motto

"Learn to serve" is the prime motto of our college and it aims at intellectual, spiritual, holistic and totality of the development of the individuals to gain knowledge and service to the community

Vision

Poondi Pudhumai Madha College of Education envisages a new society based on equality in Education, Social justice, International brotherhood and Dignity of the downtrodden, which would be possible on earth by future citizens of India. This intern presupposes the presence of potential and committed teachers, who would form and sensitize the young ones of our country.
